Why Ceramic Coating Matters More in the Arizona Sun

Scottsdale summers punish clear coat. A properly installed ceramic coating is the single best defense against UV fade, water spotting and heat damage.
UV is the real enemy
Arizona averages more than 290 sunny days a year. Ultraviolet radiation breaks down clear coat resin, which is why unprotected reds and blacks turn chalky within a handful of summers. A ceramic coating adds a sacrificial, UV-stable layer over that clear coat.
Hard water and monsoon dust
Valley tap water is mineral-heavy, and monsoon season coats everything in fine dust. A hydrophobic coating keeps that mix from bonding, so contaminants rinse away instead of etching into the finish.
Preparation is 80% of the result
A coating locks in whatever is underneath it. That's why we decontaminate and machine-polish before any product touches the paint — coating over swirls just makes the swirls permanent and glossy.
